Takayama in Ikoma, Nara Prefecture, is Japan's historic center of bamboo tea-ceremony craft, where artisans have shaped bamboo wares by hand for centuries.

It is made by hand from natural bamboo by Takayama artisans of the long-established Chikumeido workshop.

A bamboo sake set; green bamboo is prized for the faint sweet aroma it lends to the drink. Made from fresh green bamboo (aotake). Sold as a single set; contents are listed in the item details. Sealed in a vacuum pack to keep the fresh bamboo from drying out before use.
