Takayama in Ikoma, Nara Prefecture, is Japan's historic center of bamboo tea-ceremony craft, where artisans have shaped bamboo wares by hand for centuries.

It is made by hand from natural bamboo by Takayama artisans of the long-established Chikumeido workshop.

For each order, we cut bamboo from a grove, shave chopsticks, apply vacuum packing, and deliver the freshly prepared freshness to you; until the package is sent, it maintains a long-lasting blue-tinged charm. Made in Japan
